Jesse made his nominations yesterday and things are just too easy so far.  Dan and Steven are on the block and most people in the house are fine with that decision.

Right now Dan, Steven, Angie, Jerry and Renny are all considered pretty much expendable by the other seven houseguests (with the possible exception of Angie who it turns out was in an alliance with Memphis, Jesse and Michelle from early on).  Dan, Steven and Angie know they are in the hot seats but Renny and Jerry seem pretty clueless.

Most HGs seem to think Jerry is fine with lasting a few weeks and then leaving, no one seems to really care how long Renny lasts, and both are seen as long shots to win any competition and thus not much of a threat.

That last point was validated on Thursday when the HGs participated in their second food competition of the season.  The group was split into two teams and Renny and Jerry ended up on the same one.  Guess which team lost?  Yup, Renny, Jerry, Keesha, April, Memphis and Libra are all on slop this week.

Being on slop may be the one thing that will get some of these folks to start turning on one another.  I guess it is still very much early in the game but rigt now things feel very one-sided and that doesn’t make for good watching.  Even though I can hate the drama at times, right now I would like ot have a bit more in the house.

While it is way too early for me to make any predictions on who I think might have a shot at winning this season of Big Brother,  I am positive about one person that won’t.

Michelle Costa, the 28 year old real estate agent from Cumberland, Rhode Island is out of the running as far as I am concerned and here is why.

Last night 75 year old Jerry made a joke in connecting Angie with the movie Psycho as the group played Charades.  This upset Angie even though Jerry didn’t mean it in a mean way.  So Angie goes off quietly and cries in one of the beds without making a big deal about it and Michelle comes along to ask her what is wrong.

Long story short, if that is possible, Angie rebuffed Michelle nicely and then spoke with Brian.

Michelle managed to turn this incident into one where it was suddenly all about her.  She was incensed that Angie would choose to speak with Brian over her about what was bothering her.  She proceeded to go on about this to anyone who would listen for quite some time.

And that my friends is what made me realize she won’t win.  No one that self centered can win this game UNLESS they know they are that self centered and play their co-players (like Dr. WIll).

So mark Michelle off the list of possible winners, as far as I am concerned she doesn’t stand a chance.

The feeds came online right at 9pm Sunday night and wow we have learned a lot since they fired up.

The TV show ended showing Jesse and Renny nominated, but as soon as the feeds came on we discovered that Jerry won - and used - the Power of Veto. Who is on the block now? Brian, the one shown to be in an alliance with Jerry on Sunday’s show.

It seems that Brian’s alliance with Dan and Ollie was exposed and Jerry didn’t appreciate it. Others also are saying Brian was bragging that he had control over Jerry and Jerry got wind of it.

So Brian, who appeared to have a good handle on the game and how to play it appears to have overplayed his hand and may very well be walking out of the house. Jesse was saved when Jerry used the POV.

Some house guests have already lined up the order they want to evict for the first four weeks, if they have their way Brian, Dan, Renny and Jerry are history.

Two of the people with that idea are Ollie and April, and guess which two HGs were spotted at 3am Moday morning on the live feeds making out and cuddling? Yup, those two have become this season’s first ’showmance.’ I am not so sure that is a good idea this early in the game.

I will be honest and tell you that I liked Angie (below right) after watching the first show, she reminds me of Tia Carrere (below left)  whom some of you may remember from her movie and tv roles including as the rocker in Wayne’s World.

Tia CarrereAngie

Unfortunatly it sounds like Angie may be considered an ally of Brian’s and thus be on the wrong side of the ’stronger’ alliance.  Of course is is very very early in the game, I am sure there are lots of twists ahead.

Tune in at 8pm (7pm Central) to CBS to catch the premiere of Season 10 of Big Brother.

The House Guests have been in the house for a few days already and the word is that Jerry might be the first Head of Household and has already made his nominataions.

The Live Feeds will kick in shortly after the show ends on the West Coast if CBS follows the same plan as recent years. Those with the live feeds will be ale to quickly get up to speed and see what alliances have formed and get a feeling as to who might be going hom on Wednesday’s live eviction show.

I’ll have more after I watch the show tonight!!

Lookie - CBS is letting us get a peek at the HGs - this appears to be from their first big meeting.

This season’s April is none too shy!!
