Community Guidelines
Welcome. This website is a community resource built to raise awareness, promote transparency, and track how our local government responds to public records requests.
We share documents to inform—not to inflame. We provide facts to educate—not to attack. Our goal is to help our community understand what is happening, how the system works, and how to participate in it respectfully and effectively.
---
📢 Our Mission: Awareness Through Documents
· Share public records to shed light on local processes and decisions.
· Track government responsiveness to promote accountability.
· Educate residents on how to submit effective, lawful records requests.
· Build a transparent, searchable library of local government actions.
We believe an informed community is a stronger community. Awareness starts with access—and access starts with asking politely, documenting thoroughly, and sharing responsibly.
---
✅ What You’ll Find Here
· A growing library of public records organized by office and topic.
· Timelines, responses, and communications related to transparency efforts.
· Guidance on how to submit your own requests respectfully and effectively.
· Facts—not opinions. Documents—not allegations.
---
❌ What You Won’t Find Here
· Personal attacks, insults, or disrespect toward any individual or office.
· Speculation, accusations, or allegations of wrongdoing.
· Political campaigning, advocacy, or partisan messaging.
· A comments section, forum, or social media–style discussion.
This is a resource, not a rally. A library, not a lobby.

🛡️ Our Commitment to Respect
We engage with civility, even when frustrated. We document with diligence, even when delayed. We share with purpose, even when the process is imperfect.
Yes, I understand it can be very difficult at times. There’s a lot I could say—or would love to say—but I won’t. Because all that would do is stop others from being able to get the facts.
If you want to vent, talk off the record, or share frustrations in a private setting—I get it. Come talk to me on Friday at the bar. I’ll talk with you there. But not here.
Here, we keep it clean, factual, and respectful. Respect protects access. Rudeness shuts doors.

⚖️ If You Hit a Wall
If requests are denied or ignored, there are legal steps available—including appeals and court filings. These are legitimate tools in the transparency toolkit, but they must be used appropriately, professionally, and through proper channels.

🌱 Growing Awareness, Growing Trust
This site is here to help—not to harm. To inform—not to inflame. To build trust through transparency, not burn bridges with bitterness.
Thank you for respecting these guidelines, and for caring enough about our community to seek the truth with dignity.
